HARMONIZE, by Raising Appalachia

My husband once tried to explain to me, using music, what it felt like to be around me. He played some sort.of smooth jazz. It was cute, I felt flattered. It got be thinking, what music makes ME feel the way I WANT others to feel around me….that’s a tough one! This song is a front runner though. When Harmonize plays I am filled with joy and hope and a sense of connection. I want to dance, I feel inspired and whole. It’s a powerful piece of music with lovely lyrics and a permissive tone. ❤❤❤

Tell me what makes you weary
Tell me what lights up your eyes
I’ll meet you there in the middle
We’ll lay down and harmonizeTell me what makes you peaceful
Tell me what you fantasize
I’ll take an oath in the moonlight
We’ll lay down and harmonize
We’ll lay down and harmonizeI’m awake for, I’m, I’m awake for you
I’m awake for, I’m, I’m awake for you
I’m awake for, I’m, I’m awake for you
I’m awake for, I’m, I’m awake for youTell me what keeps you honest
Tell me what keeps you inspired
I’ll always come in the morning
We’ll lay down and harmonizeTell me what moves you ready
Tell me what moves your insides
I’ll bring the soul bring it steady
We’ll lay down and harmonize
We’ll lay down and harmonizeI’m awake for, I’m, I’m awake for you
I’m awake for, I’m, I’m awake for you
I’m awake for, I’m, I’m awake for you
I’m awake for you, yeah
I’m awake for you, yeah (I’m awake for you)
I’m awake, I’m awake, I’m awake for you (I’m awake for you)
I’m awake, I’m awake, I’m awake for you (I’m awake for you, I’m awake for you)
I’m awake for you, yeah (awake for, awake for)
I’m awake for you, yeah (awake for, awake for)
I’m awake for you (awake for, awake for)
I’m awake for you (awake for, awake for)
I’m awake for, I’m, I’m awake for
